**VF Corporation (VF), a global leader in branded lifestyle apparel, footwear and accessories, today announced the appointment of Mary Beth Laughton as its new Chief People Officer. Laughton will be responsible for leading VF’s global human resources (HR) strategy, including talent management, organizational development, compensation and benefits, and diversity and inclusion.**
Laughton joins VF with over 25 years of experience in human resources leadership roles. She most recently served as Executive Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer at Gap Inc., where she was responsible for the company’s global HR strategy and operations. Prior to Gap, Laughton held senior HR leadership roles at Williams-Sonoma, Inc. and The Walt Disney Company.
At VF, Laughton will report directly to Steve Rendle, VF’s Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer. She will be based in Greensboro, North Carolina.
