Located at 1438 N. Milwaukee Avenue in the Wicker Park neighborhood, shoppers will find the brand’s ready-to-wear and accessories collections. In particular, along the perimeter of the store, racks showcase outerwear from the new collection, while shelves display T-shirts, sneakers and accessories.
For the opening, Supreme also launched an exclusive series of T-shirts with the address of the store and the inscription “second to none” on the back. The store is characterized by a mural by fine artist Rita Ackermann, spanning one side of the entire space. Completing the space is a Schminx sculpture by Mark Gonzales and a tile mosaic by Sluto.
Supreme has quickly expanded its retail footprint over the last few years, opening flagships in Milan and Berlin. The new Chicago store marks the streetwear giant’s fifteenth global and fifth location in the U.S, joining locations in Manhattan, Brooklyn, San Francisco and Los Angeles.
