Thanks to the rise of dopamine dressing, candy-colored clothes—from bold pinks to lush greens—are everywhere these days. But after being spotted on some of the most stylish celebrities, one color in particular—azure, the cheery, confident hue of clear skies—has emerged as spring’s buzziest shade. As models and actors have already figured out, it’s somewhat ironically the cure to the winter blues—and a low-effort way to dial up any outfit.

Within just the past few weeks, the color has been everywhere. Tracee Ellis Ross wore an azure dress and a matching bag to Bottega Veneta’s Milan Fashion Week show. Bella Hadid topped an all-black outfit with an electric-blue jacket on the streets of Milan. At Paris Fashion Week, Olivia Culpo had a main-character moment in an aqua babydoll dress. Kate Middleton, Kelly Rowland, TikTok star Tinx, and style influencer Grece Ghanem have also embraced the joyful hue.

You can certainly tap into the color trend with a monochrome look, but the key to incorporating azure into your own wardrobe is to treat it as an accent. Opt for a vibrant jacket, dress, or shoe—then complete your look with the basics you already own.

Most celebrities toned down the brightness with neutral separates. Ross wore her azure dress and clutch with thigh-high black boots and a slick leather trench. Hadid, meanwhile, threw her bright blue jacket over a black silk top, relaxed jeans, and leather boots. Culpo finished her look with platform heels, a structured bag, and a lace collar, again all in black. These subtle styling choices make this shade of blue all the more wearable and versatile.

After a tough winter, nothing seems more refreshing than a dip in a pool-blue hue. Azure is the color of possibility, of glittering seas, iMessage bubbles, tropical locales, and melting ice pops. In other words, the celeb-approved shade is the ideal way to welcome spring. Ahead, reenergize your wardrobe with these bright blue pieces.
