Monochromatic makeup looks continue to dominate the beauty trend scene, and at least some of that has to be thanks to Selena Gomez. The pop star and actor stepped out in Paris on September 27 with a beat that looked good enough to eat. We’re calling it red velvet makeup.
Gomez’s monochromatic glam is all about the warm red tones these days. For this Parisian outing, the Only Murders in the Building star matched her deep ruby lip color with a similarly rosy shade on her cheeks and a vibrant red eye shadow. She kept the drama going with extra-long black lashes, a slick topknot, and a black Versace dress which she wore under a trendily oversized leather jacket.
Apparently deciding to let the cupcake-inspired makeup do the talking, Gomez wore silver statement earrings but skipped a necklace entirely. As they say in France, oui oui.
Gomez served this red velvet look for a night on the town with her favorite married couple, Brooklyn and Nicola Peltz-Beckham. Gomez and Brooklyn were photographed leaving their hotel together, while Nicola opted to avoid the paps by leaving in a second car 10 minutes later.
