Aubrey Plaza sparkled from head to toe in a crystal-studded two-piece at the 2022 Gotham Awards, held at Cipriani Wall Street in New York City on Monday evening. Styled for the event by Jessica Paster, Plaza wore a long-sleeve crop top and a column skirt with a high slit—both in a matching shade of creamy nude.
The actor punched up her red-carpet look with diamond stud earrings from Graziela Gems, strappy gold gladiator sandals, red nail polish, and a honey blonde blowout courtesy of hairstylist Rheanne White. Earlier this month Plaza debuted her Marilyn Monroe–esque hair transformation at the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences’ 13th annual Governors Awards in Los Angeles. The White Lotus star is still sporting her signature side bangs, but the warm blonde dye job marked a significant change from the sleek brunette hue she’s been rocking for years.
Unhinged characters have always been Plaza’s oeuvre. The actor is currently in the headlines for her jaw-dropping portrayal of Harper—an uptight lawyer who gradually loses her grip—on the second season of The White Lotus. But Plaza attended the 2022 Gotham Awards in support of her award-winning indie thriller Emily the Criminal, in which she plays an art-school dropout who resorts to credit card scamming to pay off her student loan debt.
Emily the Criminal will be available to stream on Netflix starting December 7. The White Lotus is currently airing on HBO Max.
