Pedestrians Killed After Being Struck by Hit-and-Run Driver in Chinatown

**Two pedestrians were killed in a hit-and-run crash in Manhattan’s Chinatown neighborhood early Sunday morning.**

The victims, a 66-year-old man and a 43-year-old woman, were crossing the street at the intersection of Chrystie Street and Grand Street when they were struck by a white BMW sedan around 12:30 a.m., according to police.

The driver fled the scene and remains at large.

The victims were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names have not yet been released.

The NYPD is investigating the crash.
