DressX launches first collection of metaverse fashion wearables on Roblox
Fashion-tech company DressX launched on Friday a collection on Roblox becoming the first pure-play digital fashion brand to drop a collection via the gaming platform.
As part of the partnership, DressX has introduced its first collection of metaverse fashion wearables, created with Roblox’s groundbreaking ‘Layered Clothing’ technology. The technology now allows users to mix-and-match digital fashion styles, as opposed to being limited to a 2D look or a specific 3D avatar bundle or accessory.
The DressX metaverse wearable collection for Roblox includes 12 items, exclusively available for purchase and wear on Roblox and in user photos and videos via the AR in the DressX app. Items include casual wear such as sweaters, as well as special art collections and themed annual garments, among other pieces.
“The new collection represents the DressX vision for the future of fashion available to wear for anyone and anywhere across various digital platforms,” said DressX, founded by Daria Shapovalova and Natalia Modenova, in a statement on Instagram
Earlier this month, DressX also launched the DressX NFT Marketplace. Roblox has over 230 million registered players on the platform, with at least 50 million players online daily.
