If you haven’t heard by now, the best sale of the year is here and in full swing (but you probably have because our editors have been yelling it from the rooftops for days now). Yes, the Nordstrom Anniversary Sale is here—and if you haven’t already, it’s time to figure out what you want to add to your cart before it sells out.
Every year, the Nordstrom Sale is marked on our editors’ calendars and circled in red marker because we know that it’s our opportunity to add the pieces of our dreams to our wardrobes at majorly discounted prices (and that they won’t be in stock for long). We scour every page of the sale, write down our wishlists, and do everything in our power to get our hands on the things we want before they’re gone.
This year, we’ve made purchases we’re very excited about, and we don’t want to keep the news to ourselves. From full-size beauty sets at unbelievable prices to jackets we’re planning on living in this fall, these are the pieces our editors purchased (or have in our carts) from this year’s sale. Trust us, you don’t want to miss out on them.

Cross Back Tennis Minidress, $74
A fun fact about me is that for the past three summers, I have had a perpetual tan line in the image of my Outdoor Voices exercise dress. The exercise dress is my uniform every single weekend during the warmer months, so when I saw that this criss-cross back version was on sale, I knew I had to snag at least one more to add to my wardrobe. Catch me wearing this on morning coffee walks, on the pickleball courts, during my Sunday reset, to a casual brunch, and reading a book on my porch. I honestly can’t wait to get even more exercise dress tan lines.

Packable Puffer Jacket, $149
It’s official: the time has come for me to purchase my “moving to Chicago winter coat.” Although my beloved cropped TNA puffer has served me well in other cities, I know it’s not going to cut it in the Chicago chill, so I’m trading in for this long quilted puffer from Bernardo. This baby has everything I’m going to need as I gallivant through my first Midwestern winter: a removable inner bib and hood, recycled-polyester insulation, and, of course, a functional length. I won’t take full credit for this choice, though, as I ensured that this particular puffer was Maddie-approved before adding to my cart.

Moonlight Eco Short Knit Pajamas, $40
Once I became a pajama set girlie, there was no going back. I have these moonlight pajamas in the long sleeve and pants version, and they are, hands down, my favorite thing to wear to bed. They are so smooth and soft and make me feel chic. This short set is definitely on my wish list for summer, and they are available in so many cute colors and patterns that I may just have to get a couple pairs.

Original Rise Thong, $24
Every Nordstrom Anniversary Sale I immediately stock up on Hanky Panky lace underwear. I have tried alternative lace options, but I always come back to the Hanky Panky classic Original Rise Thong because they are so soft you forget you’re wearing them at all. They come in many different cuts and colors so the underwear always works with what you’re wearing and never shows through your clothes.

Arizona Big Buckle Slide Sandal, $129
I recently discovered Birkenstocks (yes, I’m late to the game) and they are now part of my daily summer uniform. They are so comfortable that I’ve stopped wearing my running shoes on my daily neighborhood walks and now get my 10,000 steps in my black Birkenstocks. As a trending shoe of the summer, I am ready to upgrade mine to a dressier version like these white ones with the gold buckle.

Haylan Chelsea Boot, $79
Boots that are comfortable, sensible, affordable, and look good with fall and winter outfits are next to impossible to find IMO, but these boots check all the boxes for me. Last year, I bought a similar pair in black, and let me tell you, I got my money’s worth out of them (plus some), so when I saw these in the taupe shade, I immediately added them to my cart. I know that I will wear these nonstop with jeans, leggings, skirts, and anything else my heart desires.

Pointed Toe Western Boot, $129
I’m keeping the coastal cowgirl trend alive this fall with these pointed toe western-inspired boots from Sam Edelman. As someone on the shorter side, I love that these have a little bit of a heel to wear out and seem to be more versatile when it comes to styling, compared to normal cowboy boots. And at $70 off, how can I not get them?

Tube Hoop Earrings, $49
I think I have the most sensitive ears known to man, so I’m always on the hunt for good quality jewelry in sterling silver or gold. However, finding affordable gold or silver pieces don’t always go hand in hand. That is until I discovered Argento Vivo. Arguably my favorite jewelry brand out there, I always stop at the jewelry counter when I’m in Nordstrom to see what timeless pieces they have in stock. When I saw that there’d be a few pieces on sale for the Anniversary Sale I knew I had to pick something up. I decided on these larger hoops, since I don’t have a pair like this and I’ve been eyeing them for a while. Quality jewelry that won’t make my skin react, won’t tarnish and is listed at a good price? I couldn’t add these to my cart fast enough.

Polished Pebble Leather Crossbody Bag, $198
When I tell you that I have been looking for the perfect white coach bag for three years, I’m not exaggerating. I have added so many to my cart and have never gone through with the purchase because none of them ever felt like the right one—until now. Once I saw this bag, I knew it was the one. Dramatic? Maybe. But truly, I adore the versatility, style, and size of this bag, and I can’t wait to pair it with my favorite outfits.

Ace Water Resistant Belt Bag, $65
I can’t tell you the last time I used an actual purse—let’s just say I’m in my belt bag era and I don’t see it ending anytime soon. After all, they take me from my hot girl walks to the gym to brunch to errands. Needless to say, this Dagne Dover find is definitely going into my rotation. It screams effortlessly cool and stylish, plus its lightweight, water-resistant (a major bonus for those who are accident-prone—it’s me, hi), and four-pocket (plus a key hook!) features make it super functional.

Throw Blanket, $97
I’m going to be honest, I take every Nordstrom Anniversary Sale as an opportunity to get another Barefoot Dreams Blanket. Like I don’t understand how the entire world doesn’t stop when the dreamiest blanket known to man is $50 off!? Since they’ve been viral for years, I probably don’t need to tell you by now why Barefoot Dreams is not just a blanket, but a luxurious experience and why yes, you do need a $100+ throw blanket, but if you need more convincing, this blanket has reportedly been the Kardashians’ go-to gift for over five years. Stock up for your living room, to snuggle with in bed, for holiday gifts for your loved ones, as a bougie hostess gift, or because your dog deserves only the best.

Hydrate All Day Starter Set, $61
When it comes to my skincare, the simpler the better. I have very sensitive skin that doesn’t take well to a lot of ingredients and I have found the magic combo with Kiehl’s Ultra Facial Cleanser and Ultra Facial Cream which come together in the Hydrate All Day Starter Set. Both are super gentle and hydrating on my skin without irritating or clogging my pores.
